Book Blog Feature #7: Book Quotes from Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas is one of the books that deserve its hype. After reading it, I know it will be part of the best books that I read this year. It’s the only Maas that I read from her (I know it’s a shame) and a lot of people say that the series gets better as the series goes so I am quite excited to read the rest of the books in the series. And with the release of A Court of Mist and Fury, the second Book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, I know the pressure for me to read more of her books the soonest builds up.😀

But before I go back to Celaena Sardothien’s world, I decided to check the quotes and lines that I enjoyed from the book. Book Quotes posts are now becoming a regular in my blog you might notice. There’s really something comforting in being able to design a blank page with your desired font style and size and play with colors. Unlike my previous Book Quote blog posts where I used pictures as backgrounds, this time I decided that for a change I will just use plain backgrounds and just use illustrations for additional details.

Here are the quotes and lines that I enjoyed from the book. I hope you enjoy like how I enjoyed creating each plate.:)

“He was done with politics and intrigue. He loved her, and no empire, no king, and no earthly fear would keep him from her. No, if they tried to take her from him, he’d rip the world apart with his bare hands. And for some reason, that didn’t terrify him.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

“Libraries were full of ideas–perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

“Sometimes, the wicked will tell us things just to confuse us–to haunt our thoughts long after we’ve faced them.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

“No. I can survive well enough on my own— if given the proper reading material.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

“I like music,” she said slowly, “because when I hear it, I . . . I lose myself within myself, if that makes any sense. I become empty and full all at once, and I can feel the whole earth roiling around me. When I play. I’m not . . . for once, I’m not destroying, I’m creating.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

“We all bear scars,… Mine just happen to be more visible than most.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

“Names are not important. It’s what lies inside of you that matters.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

“No matter what happens,” she said quietly, “I want to thank you.”
Chaol tilted his head to the side. “For what?”
Her eyes stung but she blamed it on the fierce wind and blinked away the dampness. “For making my freedom mean something.”

― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass

“You could rattle the stars,” she whispered. “You could do anything, if only you dared. And deep down, you know it, too. That’s what scares you most.”
― Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass
