A lonely ray ventures over the horizon
its bright light my ties with the Darkness severs.
A divided mind set free from a broken gun,
Too discover the soul a fools endeavor.
As the ray streaks across the sky
memories speak and seem to lie.
Deep inside the darkness still fights,
against the rays refreshing light.
Soon the sky turns a light blue,
and on the grass lies the first dew.
A new age has arrived again,
will the voices within change again.
The darkness swirling inside ceases,
the ray grows into blazing light.
As I choose the path of unending might,
the darkness is shattered to pieces.
"How how can it be?"
I shout out with glee.
Though the answer is clear,
A great change was near.
As I stare out over the horizon,
I know that life has only begun.
I know deep down,
The darkness has withdrawn,
because of the Dawn.
