STACKING THE SHELVES - 7th November 2015

Hey Everyone!

I'm linking up again with Tynga's Reviews and Stacking The Shelves, so what have I got to show you guys!

FOR REVIEW:

Mai’s plans for a weekend of cosplay fun and games at Fan Expo come to a screeching halt when a smokin’ hot fae with a vendetta against her Father decides the best revenge is claiming her for his own.

Her father cost Ryuu everything: his home, his family…and his mate. Ryuu wants his pound of flesh, and he’s willing to take it out of Mai’s hide, bite by sensuous bite.

While she’s quick to bare her teeth and snap at Ryuu’s gentling hand, she sheathes her claws once he offers her secrets about her life and her father that rock the foundation of her world.

Caught between Ryuu’s tender persistence and her father’s iron will, Mai’s not sure who to trust, but before it’s all over this kitsune will show them both why she’s one stone-cold fox.

This was a no-brainer request from Netgalley for me as I loved Hailey Edwards Black Dog series as followers of this blog know. I knew this series was coming so when Stone Cold Fox appeared I had to read it!

Stone Cold Fox is out now!

Librarian-spy Irene is working undercover in an alternative London when her assistant Kai goes missing. She discovers he's been kidnapped by the fae faction and the repercussions could be fatal. Not just for Kai, but for whole worlds.

Kai's dragon heritage means he has powerful allies, but also powerful enemies in the form of the fae. With this act of aggression, the fae are determined to trigger a war between their people - and the forces of order and chaos themselves.

Irene's mission to save Kai and avert Armageddon will take her to a dark, alternate Venice where it's always Carnival. Here Irene will be forced to blackmail, fast talk, and fight. Or face death.

In a weird twist of fate I had literally just started reading the first Book in The Invisible Library series when book 2 appeared on Netgalley. As I was enjoying what I was reading I thought I'd give book 2 a go and was thrilled to be approved.

The Masked City is out on December 23rd 2015.

They may have won the first battle, but the Apocalypse has just begun.

Five weeks have passed since the battle that left Rome and Columbus in ruins. Sheltered in the hidden city of Caelum, Daniel and Kayla train alongside over one hundred Magus and Protectors, hoping that their unified ranks will be enough to take down their greatest threat yet: Richard, his followers, and his horde of Nightmares. Then a fallen comrade is returned to Caelum with a message carved into his chest and a note referencing the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and Daniel knows their time for training is over.

Finally understanding Richard’s plans for Kayla and the three other Magus born on Halloween, Daniel and the rest of Caelum’s volunteers scout the U.S. in a desperate attempt to stop their enemy before he can unleash his first Horseman. But when massive attacks claim thousands of lives, people all over the world begin to fall ill—including those Daniel and Kayla care about the most.

With the Horseman of Pestilence released, Daniel knows it’s time to step aside and let Kayla take the lead. Only she has the power to rival her father’s. But when Richard’s plot turns out to be darker than they imagined, their fight is met with more death and destruction—and an enemy who might be unbeatable, after all.

This was another no-brainer Netgalley choice for me as I totally adored the first book Catch Me If I Fall and have been waiting, really impatiently I might add, for the second book to be available for review. It's here and I've been approved for it and I cannot wait to see where things go next for Daniel and Kayla.

Find Me If You Dare is out December 1st 2015.

So that's all for this time ....... have you read any of the books mentioned or do you have impressions on them that you want to share with me? If so, what did you think..... I'd love to hear your thoughts!
