Animators are not caricaturists but we belong to the same artistic family. We use lines to get our point across. I imagine with horror terrorists bursting into Film Roman and mowing down all The Simpsons artists who insult everybody so cleverly with their pencils. I always thought French cartoonist Honoré Daumier doing six months in jail for an offensive cartoon was shocking but at least he wasn't killed.
