Beg For It does include some sex scenes that definitely lean towards kink. However I can safely say (considering that it isn't my personal kink) that Hart writes it in such a way that the focus of the Story isn't on the kink, I mean it's part of the Relationship between Corinne and Reese and an important one, but the story itself is definitely more than that.
The narrative was split in two, both third person, one telling Corinne and Reese's story in the present day (when they have careers and children), while the other tells of their first relationship (when they were in their early twenties and just starting out in life). The juxtaposition really worked, and it helped move the story and their relationship along. Saying that it did take me a little bit off guard the first time the tense changed! (But it is clearly labelled!)
For me the relationship between Corinne and Reese worked. They talked as well as having great chemistry and they didn't automatically forgive each other for the past. They definitely had to work through their issues which gave a more realistic and mature feel to their relationship.
I also really liked Corinne's relationship with her sister, Caitlyn, as well as Reese's relationship with his secretary. They allowed both characters to be more human and to air their insecurities in a way that made sense.
I really enjoyed Beg For It, it was a good read!
