I'm still not completely sure how I feel about Infinite Desire. I wanted something easy to read that wasn't contemporary romance, and that is what I got. I knew that Infinite Desire was erotica before I started reading, so was expecting that to be the main focus of the plot, but as its easy to read that worked perfectly for me.
What I wasn't expecting was that the world around the sex scenes gripped me far more and that plot really had me wanting to know more. The world was interesting and seemed well created, I just wished that there had been slightly more of it.
There was chemistry between Solae and Raav, but they didn't really have to work at it. They were both attracted to each other and didn't actually deny it, which meant that they just fell into bed. Their relationship was pretty plain sailing from there and I didn't feel that it actually changed much between the beginning and the end.
However, what the author did manage to do was take me completely by surprise. The plot was ticking along, and was fairly standard, but then a twist came that I in no way saw coming, and I love being taken by surprise like that. Which is why I think that the plot itself was actually stronger than the erotica element.
