Update on the Month
I have no idea what happened in May. There were two weeks where I didn't write any reviews (or post them for some of it), I didn't visit other blogs and I didn't cross post my reviews. Basically I fell off the radar a bit and I'm sorry for that. For some reason I just haven't been able to face much. Work is all up in the air again for a start and no one seems quite clear on what I'm supposed to be doing (even me!) and things in Guiding are as complicated as ever and it's just taken its toll a bit.
I've had a pretty busy month in other ways though. We've had my little brother's school fete (my Mum is on the PTFA, so by extension so have I!) as well as a District Day for Guiding. Our family went to the horse races with the family of my brother's best friend and we got to see the Human League perform. Then I went to see Busted (and if you don't know who Busted are then shame on you!) and reenjoyed my childhood through them! I loved the band anyway but seeing them live blew me away, they were seriously brilliant.
So as I'm writing this I'm gearing up for a hen party next weekend (which as this posts I'll actually be on!) We're going to Amsterdam and I've never been before so it's pretty exciting!
Costs of the Month
So this is basically the amount I should have spent on books, and the amount I actually did spend. I am ridicolously grateful for the existance of Netgalley and Review Copies it must be said! The prices I use is for the kindle edition of a Book unless it isn't available or I read a paperback copy.
