With the trial approaching, Spencer is more convinced than ever that he needs to keep the love of his life, Veronica Vaughn (otherwise known as Ronnie, Bomb or Bombshell) away from what he and his Team are up to. But Ronnie has had enough of Spencer's attitude and if he doesn't want her then she will see who else does.

What a fantastic end to the story (ignoring HEA for now, though that is all queued up on my kindle and ready to go!). It worked so well for all six of the lead characters and combined the romance and suspense elements seamlessly. It also answered some questions that I had because I read Come Back before I read Ford & Spencer's stories.

Guns is not possible as a standalone like Taut was. It pulls together the rest of the events of the series (including those in Taut) in a way that just wouldn't make sense unless you'd read the whole story. So though this was about Spencer and Veronica's love for one another, it was also about the endings for the rest of the gang.

Mixed in with the suspense and the romance were many sweet moments, not just between Veronica and Spencer (though they're flashbacks were sweet!) but also seeing how Ford is with his new family and how Rook and Ronin are moving forward. It worked perfectly because these guys are a family and a Team!

The suspense was definitely up a level from the previous books. There was a lot going wrong for the Team and they had to sort it, and it all led to a big finale that tied it all together. Each couple had their challenges (one of which was that no one knew that Spencer and Veronica were kind of together!) but they all worked together to solve them.

This was a perfect ending to a brilliant series, I just need to go read HEA now and I'm excited because I am just so invested in these characters!
