I am well and truly addicted to this series. I think that the best way of revealing just how much is the fact that after reading the first book I pre-ordered the rest of the series (which is how this doesn't count against my Lent of not buying books!) I am well and truly invested in Bridget and Daniel as well as wanting to know what on earth is going on!
About half way through the book I thought that Daniel and Bridget's relationship was in a good place, as readers we finally discovered how they previously knew each other, and they seemed to finally be recognising that there is something more than just physical attraction between them...and then there was the curve ball. Now I don't think that it's what it looks like but I do want to know what is going on, which is the thing about this series, it really makes you want to know what is going to happen next! It hooks you!
I liked seeing Bridget form friendships as well. At first she was so wary of the other girls around her that her getting to know Kat and Jessica more was a big step. I liked that they acted more like normal women than they had done previously.
I am now really intrigued about what the "game" is all about. Far more came to light in this book about how it was working behind the scenes, but there are still lots of questions to answer! I need more of this series now!
