Reading Comic books is one of the best things that ever happened to me, throughout my life I've been waiting for something like this to happen. Having this medium that not only I can relate to but also enjoy is the best thing that anyone can find and use to the fullest usage. And it gets better and better as I get older, with so many good writers joining this wonderful world and so many talented artist expressing their art and talent throughout the panels. I got to say though, I could not enjoy the benefits of reading comic books without DC Comics' amazing move to digital (day-to-date) comics. As an international reader, I could not read monthly comic books because I did not have a comic Book store near by. Digital comics made it all happened and I'm glad it did. In other words, I love this wonderful world and I'm interested in every aspect of it.
One of the many different aspects that this world has is the trivia part. I've been reading comics for four years now and I also read many trades (old and new), but still, I lack the knowledge and the history when it comes to comics. I always try to educate myself when it comes to comics, as I've read many books that talk about the history of comics and the different dimensions it has, but there are much more I need to know about the world of comic books. And what better way to do that than by reading a comic book trivia written by a true comic book reader and fan.
That's why I've picked this book! A wonderful trivia book about comic books and the history of it. Now, if you're a comic book fan/reader like me then you'll love this book and will read it multiple times, just like I did. I've read this book three times now and enjoyed it every time. So many information and so much to learn from this book that I think every comic book reader and fan should pick up and read. Writer Brian Cronin, who is a writer and a fellow member of the Comic Book Resources Forums, did a wonderful job including everything you should know about comics while also adding some funny facts.
A wonderful read indeed. 9/10.
