Grace Snow and Jack Wilde Turn Game into Fantasy Novel

MONUMENT, Colo. (PRWEB) July 19, 2013 - When Grace Snow met Jack Wilde in college, they were playing the role-playing game, Elements, that Wilde had shared with his friends. The two quickly realized the game’s potential for a novel adaptation. The result became, “Elements: Prism’s Edge” (published by iUniverse), the first in their Elements series.

“Some of the book characters are based off of characters created by players from the role-playing sessions we have done in the past, while others were created specifically for the role-plays by Jack,” says Snow. “They have a very real life of their own now as they have been tested and used so many times in real life during the games.”

“Elements” begins on the Elder’s Plane, a different plane of existence, where 15-year old Lily has been living as a princess in her mother’s castle. When her sister, Star, is murdered, Lily becomes the Light Element of Earth and crosses planes to the United States in 2021. There she must learn a new culture and Elemental laws. With the help of new friends such as Rayne the Water Element and Sara the Lightening Element, Lily uses her wit and skills to solve a series of murders in the hope of freeing the only person who can protect the Elements from the uprising dark forces. As the unchecked forces of evil grow stronger, it’s up to Lily to save her race and the world.

“Elements” brings all the excitement of Wilde’s original game with characters that have been carefully carved out. Snow says, “This book may be set in the future, but it has more to do with how teenagers have always felt; alone, lost, depressed and usually looking for their place in society.”
