The country is in an uproar these days over the upcoming election. Now, there has always been some controversy with virtually every american election but, this is getting ridiculous. It is getting so out of hand that- and this is from personal experience -it is nearly impossible to have an intelligent conversation with anyone who has an opinion on any of the candidates. I personally don't think any of them are qualified to lead this country but, since they are all we have for now I have decided to just let everyone else do the voting this year and wait and see who comes out on top. As for myself I will settle for observing with complete objectivity to see what the next four years has in store for this country. I will be viewing this as a grand cultural experiment. I view each potential President with equal disdain and this will allow me to make my observations based solely on how they perform the job. People seem to forget that in the end that is all it really is, a job, and we the citizens of this country are the employers. These people are applying for, what is at it's core, a managerial position at most and it is time they started acting like it. We need to take our personal opinions and emotions out of the equation and start looking at it from a professional standpoint. This year that is exactly what I intend to do.
