Currently Amazon has come up another winner, called Kindle Instant Preview. What it does is very simple; it gives the user a chance to read the first chapter or sample a the book free of cost.
Isn't it amazing? So many times it happens with me, I read a review and then there is an urge to know more about it so I take the name; do a search to read more about it which actually is a hassle if you ask me. There have been times when I forget looking out for the book also. Instant preview changes the game, all you have to do is click on the cover of the book and you will be taken to a sample chapter. If you like what you see you can immediately buy it or you can even share with your friends, in a matter of few clicks.
For someone like me who is an avid reader & depends a lot on blog reviews this saves a lot of time. Buying what I like is a matter of clicks.
And that brings me to the matter of a series that I have discovered few months back and have read it back to back. Wicked Witches of the Midwest by Amanda M Lee (book links appended below). It is series of book mapping the lives of 3 Witches; their respective Moms & a great grand aunt. The books come with a note from the author.
These books are full of sarcasm and are a little bit snarky -- so read only if you like to laugh and you aren't easily offended.
If you ask me the disclaimer did it for me and there has been no looking back. I have a very wicked sense of humor and the book has just what I look for. They are funny, wicked, smart ass, there is ample suspense to keep you going. The books are very well written & there are no dull moments. If you ask me you need to read them like now.
