Chapter 1 Verse 9 -  Dissolution of Suffering.

A single understanding: “I am the One Awareness,” consumes all Suffering in the fire of an instant. Be happy

Suffering is body-mind activity, mostly past bad experiences or future bad anticipations showing up in terms of suffering. Suffering is mental, if it would have been physical, it would have been called pain, instead of suffering. A thought or a sensation triggers suffering. Suffering is a combination of sensations along with associated thoughts and emotions. The constituents of suffering  - sensations are bodily and thoughts are mental. If our identifications and attachments with body and mind vanishes, naturally suffering will vanish. There might be sensation, there might be emotions and thoughts, but they will be in isolation; they will not produce the combine suffering effect. Therefore if we are realised that we are an awareness or consciousness , body and mind will play their role but not with so much of dominations.

Suffering has very close relationship with ego and therefore with body and mind. In a day to day life we see that diversion may make us to gorget suffering. In fact it is not because of forgetting of suffering, it is because of vanishing of ego thought. The instant ego thought is replaced by other thought or mind is thoughtless that instant itself suffering vanishes, like clearing of clouds revealing the original clear sky.
