The Fun Side of Doom & Gloom

In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, I think we could all do with a little bit of humour, in the face of adversity.

The Brothers Dumb

Three Dumb brothers are out drinking on Christmas Eve. They get so drunk that on their way home they cross a road and are knocked over and killed by a bus. All three immediately go to heaven.

At the Pearly Gates, Saint Peter meets them and tells them that unless they have something on their person that corresponds to the Christmas spirit, they’re doomed to an eternity in hell.

The eldest brother immediately pulls out a set of keys and jingles them around. “These are the bells of Christmas!”
Saint Peter nods and says, “See, you’re not so dumb after all. Enter!”

The middle brother panics a little then pulls out a cigarette lighter and flicks it on. “This is the Light of the World!”
Saint Peter says, “Not as dumb as you look, are you? Very clever. Enter into your rest.”

The youngest brother, who is considered to be the dumbest of the three brothers, is freaking out at this stage. As he desperately searches his jean’s pockets he reaches into his back pocket and produces a pair of women’s undies. He twirls them around on his finger with a self-satisfied grin on his face.
Saint Peter says, “What in the world does a pair of woman’s panties have to do with the Christmas spirit?”
The dumbest brother’s smile broadens. “These are Carol’s.”
