Did you know a man has a rib cage comprising of 12 Ribs on either side. I didn’t know that, I was never that interested in biology at school. But around lunchtime on Tuesday, while enjoying a three day break in Pernea in Cyprus, I fell and broke seven ribs on my lower left side. Well, I say seven, my doctor said at least seven.

I can take pain, when I fell down a small gully and hit the bottom I screamed with the pain.

Now I’ve been in hospital three days and it hurts like hell still and I’m on painkillers, and oxygen due to restricted breathing

Never rains but it pours
