Since the advent of Kindle Direct Publishing, indie authors, like myself, have never had it so easy in terms of getting their work published. Now Amazon have added an extra goodie to kdp. You can now, very quickly, get your kindle version published as a paperback.

The process comes in three easy stages. Details, Content and Rights & Pricing.

The best part of this is the cover creator app. Having printed two paperbacks on Createspace (which is owned by Amazon) it’s not exactly easy to create a cover. But with the kdp version it’s pretty much a doddle.

It’s so simple

It’s just taken me about an hour to create the paperback version of The Demon Murders and is currently being reviewed.

Because it’s POD (Print On Demand) it makes the paperback a bit pricey, but then again if you did it yourself with a printer it would cost several arms and legs and you would then have to sell the book yourself.

Here’s hoping it becomes a best seller!
