Packaged and shipped,
To another world entirely,
With the promise of a Fonder heart,
Once she returns
Can that be promised?
That alleged increase in love?
The Absence does not determine love,
Only hinders its natural process
Return, she does, to a fonder heart,
As well as to broken ties,
Between relations, unfortunately
That she can no longer call hers
What a gamble they take,
For an increase in love,
Love that cannot grow,
For it was always infinite
"Absence makes the Heart Grow fonder",
So they say, but is there truth
To the saying that does nothing,
But encourage the gamble?
