Annabelle Creation (English) 2017: Like Ouija: Origin of Evil, this one is actually a prequel. Likewise, this one is better than its sequel. Both Ouija: Origin of Evil and Annabelle : Creation has a common child actor: Lulu Wilson and she has started commanding audience attention at a tender age of 11 years itself.
There is one more surprise, after watching the Horror Movie Lights out, I was curious to see what the director would do next? Now, David F. Sandberg has directed this one after his effective horror Movie 'Lights out'.
Lulu Wilson and Talitha Beteman make this movie better with their stand alone performances.The best thing about this movie is its wonderful creepy atmosphere, which includes an abandoned creepy well, the house itself is huge and creepy, and add to that a good story that is believable.
The possessed doll that rocks on a rocking chair in a locked room would send a chill down your spine. There are many jump scares in this well made movie. However, on the down side, the first 30 minutes of the movie is dull. The way the first Annabelle is tied in to this film is outstanding. It reminded me the Final Destination last part which is wonderfully tied to the first part.
So, is it really so scary as people are saying about it? I think it depends from person to person. I liked this one, but felt it wasn't that scary as people have made it! My rating is 7/10. Surely, recommended for a horror fan and the fan won't be disappointed!
