My dear friend Jenny Brown is teaching another art Collage class at Maud Morgan Arts Center in Cambridge, MA, and it’s not too late to sign up!
I took her class last fall and it’s so much fun. It’s perfect for someone who would like to try an art class but isn’t confident about their technical drawing skills. Because, for collage art, you don’t need drawing skills. You just need to dive in and have fun!

This piece reminded me of a storyboard for a picture Book but it needed another character. I also took Katia Wish’s character design workshop at MassArt so I combined what I learned there with the collage art piece.

Join us for an evening of immersive collage at the Maud Morgan Arts Center with artist and instructor Jenny Brown.
The class is about committing to the materials that are at hand, and the community spirit of sifting through carefully collected materials to build a piece of artwork that reflects a narrative or create pieces focused on aesthetics. Click here for workshop details and registration.
