What an unexpected surprise to land on Publishers Weekly October 6, 2022  Daily Email as the “Photo of the Day!” Barefoot Books hosted a series of events to celebrate its 30th anniversary and this was their Step Inside a Story: 30 Years, 30 Artists event.

30 Artists and their work were featured in a gallery setting. It was a walk down memory lane for me as I saw beautiful illustrations that brought back fond memories of reading these wonderful books with my children when they were small enough to fit on my lap — all three of them!

What the Instagram post or the feature didn’t include was the photographer! Our thanks to Stephen Wolfram, Founder and CEO of Wolfram Research for taking the photos. He’s a friend and neighbor of Nancy’s!
