Totally inspirational, Caring Conservationists is full of information, has lots of activities for children keen to investigate and, as well as the more 'exotic', features ways in which children can care for wildlife in their own way in a section that looks at how they can take small steps to help the natural world and live a greener life. 

Beginning with an 'ordinary' young women who, having been stung by bees aged four, went on to became a 'bee champion', setting up a charity that supports bees and bee keepers, my little book-worms were soon discussing how they too would become conservationists who would change the planet.

Kate is an author of both fiction and non-fiction children’s books. Originally from London, she now lives with her family in the South of France. She writes wild and adventurous stories about animals, people and STEM that encourages a can-do spirit, a quest for knowledge and a sense of adventure.
