The Mother, Our Pride

As I open my eyes
being a child of the mother
I lay on the lap
& just have known the wail & cry.

The mother is loving & cares
gave us a place to stay
protects us
& looks after all the affairs.

She’s our pride
her rules we abide by.
We pledge to protect our mother India
everything we can think of her
’cause we’ll respect her not going away far.
