Sabahat Qamar Biography: Sabahat Qamar Zaman (Urdu: born 5 April 1984) is a Pakistani actress and television personality who goes by the stage name Saba Qamar. Her performances have been recognized as a notable shift from typical portrayals of women in Urdu television. She is one of the most well-known and well-paid celebrities in Pakistan. Four Lux Style Awards have been bestowed upon her, as well as a nomination for a Filmfare Award. In 2012, Pakistan’s government awarded her the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, and in 2016, the Pride of Performance.
Life and Career:
Saba Qamar Zaman was born in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, on 5 April 1985 to a Sindhi family. She lost her father when she was quite young and spent most of her childhood with her grandma in Gujranwala. She had her early schooling in Gujranwala before continuing her study at Lahore. Karachi is where her family lives.
Qamar showed up in the PTV Home TV series Mein Aurat Hoon (2005). The series was shot in Lahore and was trailed by a few exemplary PTV series including Garoor, Taqdeer, Chaap (2005), Dhoop Mein Andhera Hai (2006), Kanpur Se Katas Takptv sequential bint e adam (2007), and Unbiyaanable and Maamo (2007). Later in 2007, Qamar showed up in ATV’s series Khuda Gawah which was the redo of a 1992 Indian movie of a similar name, and the personal dramatization of Jinnah Ke Naam, which was the creation of PTV Home toward Tariq Mairaj. She plays filled the role of Fatima Jinnah and the series was a recognition for the author of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. However the series bombed monetarily, Qamar got a selection for Best TV Actress (Terrestrial) at the Lux Style Awards. In a prior meet with The Express Tribune, Qamar admitted, “As far as I might be concerned, acting is having the option to communicate the sentiments, feelings, and articulations of various individuals and characters”.
