MY THOUGHTS

You Can Shine So Bright is a delightful and inspirational picture book. It is based on verses from the Bible called fruits of the Spirit.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness and self-control."

- Galatians 5:22-23 (CEB)

The same way fruits grow on a tree or vine and become ripe enough to be picked and eaten, it's the same way we become palatable to God and others when we try to grow in His will by doing and being what He says we can be.

Throughout the book the authors give examples of ways children can practice each of the seven fruits.

The pictures are bright and engenders a sense of happiness on sight. Various ethnicities are represented demonstrating that the offer to become like Jesus with the help of the Holy Spirit is available to everyone.

This book also goes into the pile of books for my grandson!

I rated this book 5 out of 5 stars!
