Things Will Work Out (According to these Books)

People say that things have a way of working out.

It’s true. I’m one of those people who say this.

It may not feel like it right now but things do have an amazing, surprising way of working out sooner or later.

Story time.

I was unemployed for more than a year and then, things got from worse to worst, 2020 happened. No one was going to hire me during a pandemic. BUT it was not a completely miserable time for me. I still felt blessed in other areas of my life. But I didn’t want to be unemployed. I wanted so bad to get a work. The feeling of not getting what I want even when my intentions were good sucks. Not a week went by that I didn’t ask myself what’s wrong with me, why isn’t someone hiring me. I felt like I’m going to be unemployed forever. And then came 2021, I finally got a job that I wanted with nice, kind, easy-to-work-with co-workers. When I say I got the job that I wanted I mean I got everything I was looking for in a job.

Point is: everything will work out. It may really, really, really seem like it won’t but it will.

You may not believe me so I thought to collect the authors/books that say things will work out. To inspire you.

Everything has a way working out (according to these books)

1. Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton

“Things will change more radically than you could ever imagine. Things will end up 300 miles north of your wildest prediction.”

2. Good Vibes, Good Life by Vex King

“Remember that there’s a lesson in every challenge, a lesson in every failure, which means your failures don’t have to be failures at all; they’re just twists in your path to greatness. If you commit your whole heart to achieving something and it doesn’t work out, you can take that as a promise from the Universe that it wasn’t the right thing for you. Something better is coming. Keep going.”

3. What They Forgot to Teach You at School by The School of Life

“It might be hard right now, but things will work themselves out eventually; they always do.”

4. 101 Essays That Will Change The Way You Think by Brianna Wiest

“Things will work out better than you could have chosen or designed them. In your unknowingness, however, it will seem as though everything’s been shot to shit. In the moments before you realize something better than you can fathom is coming to fruition, it will seem like every plan you made and hope you had has been completely disregarded by whatever higher power you do or don’t believe in. Have faith that you’ll get more than you think you deserve.”

5. The Self-Love Experiment by Shannon Kaiser

“Everything always works out the way it should.”

6. How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie

“I interviewed Henry Ford a few years prior to his death. Before I met him, I had expected him to show the strains of the long years he had spent in building up and managing one of the world’s greatest businesses. So I was surprised to how calm and well and peaceful he looked at seventy-eight. When I asked him if he ever worried, he replied: “No. I believe God is managing affairs and that He doesn’t need any advice from me. With God in charge, I believe that every-thing will work out for the best in the end. So what is there to worry about?”

7. Super Attractor by Gabrielle Bernstein

“I’ve learned to see rejection as a form of protection. I trust that when something doesn’t work out the way I planned, it’s because there’s something far greater in store for me.”

“Make it your priority to have fun even when things aren’t working out the way you planned or when your manifestations haven’t arrived yet. Trust that the more fun you have, the more you speed up the manifesting process. Having fun along the way shifts your Energy to certainty. When joy becomes your default, you become certain that everything will work out, even if the end result is different from what you planned. You’ll learn to rely on your own capacity to access joy rather than needing it from an outside source. No romance, amount of money, credential, or achievement can give you the sense of certainty your own joy can provide. When you practice having fun along the way, the Universe supports you. The support, flow, and synchronicity you receive from the Universe give you a great sense of certainty.”

8. Miracles Now by Gabrielle Bernstein

“I believed that if I didn’t control a situation, it would never work out the way I wanted. Ironically, all my controlling behavior actually got in the way of my desired outcomes. My energy was frantic, controlling, and fearful. If you’re someone who spends your days (and nights—we can obsess in our dreams, too) obsessing over outcomes, it’s time to redirect your energy.

When we’re overly controlling, we’re out of alignment with our spirits and focused only on what we can do as individual bodies. The reason we try to control outcomes is because we’re afraid that if we don’t make it happen no one will. When this feeling comes over you, it’s a sure sign that you do not trust the energy of the Universe.”

See?

You may notice that the last two books are by Gabrielle Bernstein. Her books are uplifting and will help you release control over the things you cannot control.
