January 2023 Romantic Comedy Books

Hi fellow romance readers, how is your new year so far? Are you excited to read more Romantic Comedy Books in 2023?

I thought I would create a list of romcom books I want to read per month. Here it is!

BTW, I don’t know why I’m seeing this just now. As I was creating this list, I noticed all of the publication dates of these books always land on a Tuesday. It’s interesting. I also checked the other books I want to read on Amazon and their publication dates also land on a Tuesday. I’m going to research on this Tuesday thing.

Romantic Comedy Books January 2023

Here are the books I’m hoping to read this month. Well, except for one because I already read it. I thought to still add it to the list for you.

1. Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute by Talia Hibbert (January 3)

Ex-bestfriends teenagers Celine and Bradley are compelled to work together for the chance to win a prize. They start to recall the positive aspects of their past as this experience pulls them closer together.

2. Exes and O’s by Amy Lea (January 10)

I had the pleasure to be one of the ARC readers of this book on NetGalley. See my Exes and O’s book review if you like.

3. The Rom-Com Agenda by Jayne Denker (January 10)

Leah helps Eli in changing himself and in romance to help him get his ex back. She feels Eli doesn’t need to change a thing about himself.

4. A Guide to Being Just Friends by Sophie Sullivan (January 17)

When Hailey and Wes accidentally run into one other during a catastrophic meet cute that wasn’t really meant for them, they awkwardly part ways. However, they become friends after Wes seeks Hailey out to make amends for his actions. It can only be that. Distractions are not what Hailey wants. Wes is not interested in finding love.

5. Your Place or Mine by Portia Macintosh (January 17)

Serena finds it very difficult to live with Ziggy in the home of their married friends. She tries to drive him out by being tough to live with but he is aware of her strategy, and as their feud escalates, living together under the same roof may have repercussions.

6. Speechless by Lindsey Lanza (January 17)

Even though Henry’s artistic career may be at its height, his severe anxiety utterly disrupts his personal life. The more Lucy remains with him and his housemates, though, the more everything changes. She quickly becomes one of them and gives Henry a glimpse of bliss he never imagined he could have. As their connection progresses, Lucy can no longer deny her desire to Henry.

Did you know that Lindsey Lanza is a bookstagrammer turned author? So cool and inspiring!

7. Do I Know You? by Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka (January 24)

Eliza and Graham don’t correct a kind-hearted guest who presents them as being single and single-minded in the hotel bar. In an unforeseen turn of events, they start acting like complete strangers. They find themselves flirting as if it were their first date.

8. Make a Wish by Helena Hunting (January 24)

Harley Spark almost kissed widowed father Gavin. They moved across the state and she never saw Gavin and his kid  again. Seven years later, he and his daughter emerge at a princess-themed birthday party that is being held at Spark House, Harley’s family’s event hotel. She tries to ignore how uncomfortable the scenario is, but she can’t help but notice how uncomfortably hot he appears. It becomes obvious that she is not even close to getting over the embarrassment of her heinous mistake from all those years ago.

9. The Second You’re Single by Cara Tanamachi (January 31)

Freelance writer Sora knows she needs to stop the attraction right away when she sees Jack at the neighborhood grocery shop and it hits her hard. She cannot pursue the man AND go solo. She can’t let her readers down after pledging to stay single in February.

That’s my list!

These are the January 2023 romantic comedy books I want to read. How about you?
