New Delhi: First-year undergraduate students of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will now be able to continue their further studies from regular universities like DU, and JNU after one year of study. From the academic session in January 2024, IGNOU is going to start a four-year degree program in graduation under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has directed all universities to implement the recommendations of the National Education Policy 2020 from the academic session 2023-24. Under this, IGNOU is going to start a four-year degree program in the January 2024 session.
