About the Book

What does it take to become an IPS officer? Hours of rigorous physical training, mental toughening, and systemic conditioning at the national police academy, along with a never-give-up attitude, unwavering courage, grit, and determination.

Win All Your Battles, first published in Marathi as Kar Har Maidan Fateh, is the fascinating story of how Vishwas Nangre Patil rose from his humble village origins to become a steadfast, upright police officer and youth icon.

‘Who better to come up with a guidebook on training, transformation, motivation and manifestation than Vishwas Nangre Patil—who embodies it all. This book is a cardinal launch pad for youngsters with big dreams who want to make a change in the world they live in.’

Author Vishwas Nangre Patil says, ‘Win All Your Battles is about the experiences and experiments during my training period and professional life. The skills, values, and lessons I learnt at the academy shaped my career as a police officer. The discipline and habits that I inculcated in my early twenties enhanced my physical, mental and spiritual fitness in later years.

With conviction, I developed physical and moral courage that helped me in facing man-made disasters and natural calamities. My first book was about my journey as a rural boy getting selected for the Indian Police Service. Win All Your Battles is like its sequel that illustrates the molding and building of my character, my personality. I hope the English readers appreciate my humble efforts just like the Marathi readers did.’

‘Vishwas embodies all qualities of an ideal police officer. This book will act as a beacon of inspiration to the youth of our country.’

AMIT LODHA

The book is a must-read for all those in need of a quick dose of motivation.’
