About Stephen Cohen

Born, Sutton-In-Ashfield, England.
Reading articles about the Second World War caught Stephen Cohen’s attention. Later, a simple curiosity and a TV show will turn into a passion and a source of inspiration for his books.
To feed this passion and to document himself as best as possible, the author will visit museums and places full of history in over fifty countries. This is impressive and says a lot about how Stephen prepared his books.
Stephen Cohen: “I love anything to do with World War II, well any kind of war history. But my other passion is music. I've written and produced many songs over the years, you'll find an EP on Amazon to go along with my novel, for a taste, watch the book promo which includes a clip of a song from the EP."

The book is historical fiction that adopts real events in an original style.

Walter Schellenberg is the officer responsible for running a new project, using prostitutes to gather information regarding foreign citizens and disloyal Germans. This action will take place in a brothel in Berlin.

After the bombing of Berlin, the central characters who escape from the ruins run away, take revenge, and learn more secrets, including those related to diamond shipments.

The women are contacted to be hired by the new masters.

A plethora of events in an alert story full of suspense and emotion.

One of the first things that caught my attention was that Stephen does not excel in the physical description of the characters. The author focuses on how the characters' actions make them feel in their inner lives.

I didn't find out whether Hannah was blonde or blue-eyed when she was twelve or eighteen.

Instead, you can easily understand that Hannah’s hair had the color of fear, her eyes had the color of anger, her eyebrows had the shape of insecurity, and the echoes of unanswered questions were drowning in her voice.

I don't think I'm exaggerating if I say that there were quite a few moments when, while reading, I imagined I was watching a film.

I discovered the complex and carefully polished imagination of Stephen Cohen. A demonstration of the authenticity of an expressive creation.
