5.0 out of 5 stars The Book that well-portrayed the beauty of poetry.
Reviewed in the United States
This book consists of 61 poems and though each one of them looks simple and concise, it actually showcases the complexity as well as a deliberation of the selection of words. I’m truly amazed by how the things we usually take granted for could be so beautiful and if it weren’t for this collection of poems, I probably wouldn’t give poetry a shot since I never feel the power of written words in person.

Besides, I appreciate the way the author composes his works in this book because he not only chooses some of the most lyrical words in the English language, he also uses lower cases in most poems, especially the small “i” when it’s supposed to be “I,” referring to the first-person POV. I don’t know you but I actually like it when people talk about themselves with an “i” as if they don’t want to put too much emphasis on themselves since everyone is equally important in a conversation. Anyway, that’s just my interpretation of the overall arrangement of Invitation to Poetry and I hope you’ll love these poems as much as I do!
