January Wrap-Up

We'll just pretend that February isn't a week or so in already..
I did post in January but not as much as I wanted to but I have some exciting ideas written down so hopefully they are coming soon!!

These are my favourite things from January. Although it was just after Christmas I still managed to gain a few books.. whoops!

Books read:

Everybody's Talking About Jamie by Tom MacRae
5 stars

I did a musical swap with one of my friends and we each became obsessed which each others musical. This musical is so funny!! This is definitely one script that is sooo worth reading alongside the soundtrack.

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare (Reread)
5 stars

How do you get back into reading?
Read a 700 page book!
I really craved a good old Cassandra Clare book to murder my emotions and I really want to finish this trilogy. I was surprised at how much I had forgotten, so it was good to reread it!

Favourite stuffs: (great grammar, I know)

Dodie's EP- Human!!!!!!

I love Dodie and her new EP is sooo good! I stayed up to watch her livestream on the release day and it was really fun. I am obsessed with the songs Monster and Human (and all the rest!). I am planning on doing a full review of the album.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie

I know I just mentioned it but... it's so good! Go listen to it!! Also I did my own tag for it HERE.

Banoffee Pie

I literally have no idea why but I have been craving banoffee pie so badly and still haven't managed to find it in any shops yet!!

Stuff bought/gained:

Books:

On The Other Side by Carrie Hope Fletcher
I love Carrie and plan on reading all her books

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare
As mentioned earlier, I plan to finish this trilogy

Dear Evan Hansen by Val Emmich
I love the musical and am interested to see how it works as a book

Other:

Dodie EP- Human
Just in case it wasn't obvious. Plus it's signed!! (Supersonic fangirl squeal)

I Love tea mug
If you don't know by now.. I LOVE TEA. This was given to me as a reward for getting a project done for college and it is the biggest mug in the world!!

Average mug vs new mug

Things done:

Revived my blog
Well started to.. As mentioned at the start, I hoped to do more than I have but I did start which is progress!

Completed 2 projects for college
Due to my mental health, getting projects done is not easy and last year I barely managed anything. This year so far I have completed 2 important projects. There are still more to go but I am still proud of my efforts. I can't show anything yet, but once they are marked etc I'll show you my work.

Got an unconditional offer to my course next year
Next year I plan to go into higher education for graphic design and after a terrifying interview I got my place!!

That's everything in January. I know for most it is a fairly depressing month but personally I can see I have done so much and am actually proud of myself (which is hard to feel).
Let me know anything you recommend I check out in February.
