I made a book tag!!
As I've mentioned before, I love musicals and want to start including them in my blog more. I have previously done book tags from other musicals (you can't currently see them.. sorry) but with some searching I could not find one for this amazing musical. If one does exist.. sorry, please let me know!
I have linked the soundtrack from YouTube HERE. (The song 'If I Met Myself Again' doesn't seem to work so you have to get that separately..)
And You Don't Even Know It - A Book you love that may surprise people
Secrets For The Mad by Dodie Clark.
This may be a surprise as it is a YouTuber book which are stereotypically very bad. But I love this book.
Yes, I am obsessed with Dodie, but this book is genuinely good!! It's fairly relatable and she uses quite poetic language.
Spotlight - A book that inspired you to do something
The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
All of the books in this universe include quotes in Latin, particularly this series. When reading it, I thought the language was so beautiful and even though it is no longer a usable language I began learning it and know a fair amount which I will one day continue.

The Wall In My Head - A book that you were put off reading because of other people's opinions
The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien
I have always wanted to read this book but haven't gotten around to it as I have heard a few comments from people saying that it is a long and heavy read.
I think I could really like the story, but when it comes to reading, if a story is too dense it can lead to a reading slump which I do not want to happen.
One day I will power through and read it.

The Legend Of Loco Chanelle - An over the top / dramatic character
Magnus Bane from The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
I know I just used a Cassandra Clare series (I'm trying to hold back), but Magnus Bane is the most dramatic character ever and we all love him for it.
If I Met Myself Again - A book you wish you could read for the first time again
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
Although this book is also amazing to reread as you notice things you didn't the first time, I so wish I could read it for the first time again and didn't know the ending (no spoilers).
Work Of Art - A beautiful book (appearance)
Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
Just look at it.. stunning.
I love the use of colour and the plants forming the eyelashes. This whole series has amazing covers and it is really hard to choose a favourite.

Over The Top - A book with really supportive friends
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
It surprised me how hard I found it to think of a book for this question. I'm sure there are plenty but it took me a while to think.
This book however, has amazing friendship bonds throughout it. I love seeing the characters come together and support each other, no matter what.

Everybody's Talking About Jamie - A book you heard everybody talking about
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
I heard sooo much about this book. Yes, it was well deserved hype, but it did sort of ruin the importance of the book as I felt more pressured into reading it than actually appreciating it.
Limited Edition Prom Night Special - A book you bought especially for it's cover or release (for example: limited edition or part of a collection)
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
To some people this will be no surprise. I absolutely love this book and want to collect every edition I can (I currently have 9 editions).
I like to look around charity shops to see if I can find any to add to my beautiful collection.
It Means Beautiful - A special book
The Famous Five by Enid Blyton
This series is a very big part of my childhood. The stories made me search for adventures and love being by the coast. Enid Blyton has also inspired me to try writing in the future.
Ugly In This Ugly World - An ugly book cover
History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera
Okay, so this book doesn't exactly offend my eyes or anything but I am sort of holding a grudge against this cover.
Basically, I ordered this book with US cover and that is the edition that was described to me. Then this cover arrived. It is pathetic. There is a beautiful US edition and then I get this..
He's My Boy - A book you've seen grow like a child
Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine
This may seem like an odd question but what I mean by it is you discovered the book when it was less well known and has now become more heard off.
This happened to me with this book and I may seem really weird but the book feels like my child that I am slowly watching grow up.
My Man, My Boy - A fictional mum you wish you had
Molly Weasley from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
I'm not saying that you have to go replace your mum..
I would love Molly Weasley as my mum (I think everyone does). Yes, she can be verging on scary when she's angry but she is so full of love.
The Prom Song - A book you'd sneak into prom to read
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
This book has so many cool outfits and magical events happening throughout that I think it would fit right into a prom.
(I so wish I'd snuck a book into my prom).
Finale - A book with an amazing finale
Allegiant by Veronica Roth
This was another question I struggled with a I am very good at starting series and not ever finishing them... whoops.
Although Allegiant broke my heart, it had a great finish that left me thinking about it for ages.

Out Of The Darkness - A book that left you feeling good
Wonder by R.J. Palacio
Although this is a children's book, I still read it and finished it feeling really good and positive.

That's it for my tag. I hope you liked it.
Anyone is welcome to do the tag, it would be nice if you would link it back here.
If you haven't listened to the musical, gooooooo!
