2017 in the life of Liber Amoris

This is the last of the 2017 posts - I swear!!
I thought it would be nice to look back on the year at my favourite posts and events in my life.
Last year my blog grew quite a fair amount and I have managed to stick to a good routine and post frequently which I am really proud of! Last year I posted a total of 52 different posts which is more than I ever thought I'd be able to stick at!

My Top 5 Posts:
These are ordered by date, not by favourite.
Click the title for links to each post mentioned.

Cosplay Adventure with Chloe

In honour of World Book Day we each dressed up as book characters (I was Katniss Everdeen, Chloe was Emma Carstairs) and we visited some book shops and took some cool photos.
It was such a fun day and definitely helped me to test my confidence being out in public and posing for photos.

Harry Potter Tea Party

This was a very unique experience with the added bonus of  Harry Potter magic.
I attended a local charity event themed around Harry Potter. It was very unique and felt like everyone was included.
I had some cool themed food and of course added a few items to my collection!!

Scotland Trip! -With Harry Potter Locations

This was definitely something I never thought I would be doing!
I loved Scotland and it was especially amazing visiting some Harry Potter sights. From filming locations to the cafe the first book was mostly written in it was incredible.

Harry Potter Adventures in London! + Other Sights

This was another amazing trip visiting Harry Potter locations.
This time it was a little bit closer to home in London.
From platform 9 3/4 to seeing the designing process of the films it was a really interesting and memorable experience.

(P.S. Let's face it, no one here is surprised that 3/5 of my favourite posts are Harry Potter focused)
Bookstores + Tea With Chloe

Also unsurprisingly my last favourite of the year is another trip with the fabulous Chloe.
Once again we had fun visiting bookshops and taking shameless photos.

Brief summary of my year:
Although I wish it did my life doesn't completely revolve around books.
This year has actually been one of the busiest and most important years of my life.

This year has been a great year for my family as I have gotten to see my little brother grow up and constantly learn new things which I think are very special moments.
Between my mum and his two older sisters I think it is safe to say that he is definitely loved to bits! (Though he is a very cheeky monkey!).
I have had lots of good memories with my sister and my mum as well and I really appreciate these moments with my family.

Unfortunately the year has also given me some big changes which were challenging but have turned out good.
I passed my GCSE's this year (exams you must take at the age 16). They were definitely challenging but I am proud of my results.
Following on from that I left school and had my prom. It was hard to leave school but I am still in contact with the people who are important to me.

Now I am studying A levels at college in Computer Science, Graphic Design and English Language and Literature.
It has been quite a battle with my anxiety but I am slowly overcoming it and things are looking much more positive.

Also... I am now learning to drive! It is absolutely terrifying and I think it is best that people keep far away when I am on the road!!

Thank you for being so supportive throughout the year. I hope this year will be even greater.
I also hope you have gotten to know we a bit better.
If you have any questions let me know. Also I would love to hear your ideas of what you would like me to do in the future.

Kaitlin :-)
