Harry Potter Adventures in London!!!! + other sights

Recently I had the amazing opportunity to visit some Harry Potter locations in London as well as some other fun places to visit there.
As with my Scotland Harry Potter trip (link HERE if you missed it) I will be linking the locations of each of these places and if you have any questions about them feel free to comment below :-)

The first place was not actually anything to do with HP but it was still a crazy place! We visited M&M world which is a four floor chocolate emporium.
It was absolutely mental, the wall was covered in tubes which all contained M&M's. (We had to get some while we were there!)
The shop just goes on and on with chocolate everywhere.
We were quite lucky as we went pretty early in the day so there wasn't too many people about which meant we got a good look around.

Next we went to a giant Lego shop. We hadn't actually planned to go there but we saw it and couldn't miss a chance to look around!
The models inside the shop where extremely intricate and very impressive.

Next we saw the Palace Theatre which is where Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is shown.

Unfortunately we didn't actually get tickets to see the show but it is very cool outside although I was so annoyed that there was construction work surrounding it so I couldn't actually see it properly.

Next....we went to Primark... I now feel you seriously questioning why I would go all the way to London and just go to Primark, but let me explain...this Primark had a whole area dedicated to their Harry Potter stock!!! (I hope I linked the right one as there are two very close to each other).

The whole inside was decorated and felt very magical (though extremely busy).
I definitely managed to spend quite a bit in there which you can see in my birthday haul coming soon!

It definitely had way more stock than my local one which got me very excited until I realised I had to carry everything around all day...whoops, it was worth it though!

Next stop: House of MinaLima.

This place is absolutely incredible!!!!!
The owners of this shop designed most of the paper props in the Harry Potter films and are currently working on the Fantastic Beasts films.
These designs include: the Marauder's Map, Yule Ball decorations and posters, the Quibbler, the Daily Prophet, Undesirable posters and much more!
While here I got one of their Ravenclaw designs on a card holder.

Upstairs there are multiple floors to the exhibition of the original artwork and how it was designed. I learned loads of interesting facts which is crazy considering I thought I knew a lot already!

Fact I learnt- The pointing finger that appears lots throughout the films is actually the mark that it was designed by MinaLima. They appear loads when you know that!!

Next we went to see a performance of The Phantom of the Opera musical at Her Majesty's Theatre.

I have wanted to see this musical for ages and it lived up to all of my expectations!

(By the way I am getting iller and iller as the day goes on so I start to look a bit like death).

All the songs are still stuck in my head ....

If you don't know what it is about I stole a brief overview from Google....
From his hideout beneath a 19th century Paris opera house, the brooding Phantom schemes to get closer to vocalist Christine Daae. The Phantom, wearing a mask to hide a congenital disfigurement, strong-arms management into giving the budding starlet key roles, but Christine instead falls for arts benefactor Raoul. Terrified at the notion of her absence, the Phantom enacts a plan to keep Christine by his side, while Raoul tries to foil the scheme.

I would definitely recommend seeing it if you ever get the opportunity!!

Completely random but I had to include it as there were so many stunning lights around London which looked really magical!

Next was actually an unexpected Harry Potter location.

We went to Hamley's toy store and where just wandering around when suddenly I spotted Harry Potter on a sign and grabbed my Mum and my sister and said "We are going to the fourth floor".

The Harry Potter section was so big. It had all the incredible noble collection items you can buy as well as all sorts of different items (though all way beyond anything I could afford).

Also I just need to mention how absolutely mental that whole store is. If you have seen the film 'Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium' (good film) this is the closest place you will get to it!

Finally.........we went to the Platform 9 3/4 shop at King's Cross Station!!!!!

This is partly what inspired the whole trip.

The whole aesthetic of the shop was beautiful. Everywhere I looked there was something new to see.

Also there was no house discrimination! Every house had equal amounts of merchandise!!!

I got a really cosy Marauder's Map scarf from here.

Also despite the incredibly long queue I had to do it! I had to get my photo taken with the trolley!

That's it for my Harry Potter tour of London.
I was absolutely exhausted by the end of it.
Thanks to my mum and my sister for such an amazing time!

If you have any questions about any parts of it let me know down below!!
Also let me know of any places I missed and can visit on future trips.
