A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to go to a local Harry Potter themed tea party with all profits going towards Cancer Research. It had a really nice sense of community and love for the fandom and although I was my usual introvert and just kept to myself I still enjoyed seeing everyone coming together.
Each person was allocated a table with a character name (I was Hermione though I thought since we were Ravenclaw's we should have been on Luna...) and each table was decorated according to it's character it was portraying. (I didn't get photos of all of them as it was kind of awkward asking if I could take photos of people's tables).

There was also a tombola in which I turned out to be quite lucky and won a few items.
These are all of the items I came away with.
The wooden wand was handmade out of hazel with a twisted and rustic style. It was specially made for me and was wrapped up in brown paper at my seat when I arrived as a gift from my mum.
Finally of course we had the food which was nice and all themed.
Overall I had a really nice time and would definitely go to another event if they were to run one.
