So I know I only just did a wrap up and it not the end of the month yet but I am proud of the reading I have done this month so I am wrapping it up now.
Am I Normal Yet? by Holly Bourne
This book really surprised me. In all honesty when I started this I wasn't actually expecting much but I came away loving it! It was a definite 5/5 stars!!
I found it really interesting especially as it was set in the UK so I could relate to the schooling system especially as the main character was starting college which is what I am doing in a week or so which made it very relatable.
The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith
This Book was a very random read. I literally went to the library, grabbed a random book, read for 4 hours, moved to a cafe and read for another hour.
It was a nice quick read but I just found it a bit boring and wasn't the most exciting book to me so I only gave this book 2/5 stars.
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
I have been told to read this book from my friend FOREVER so when she gave me a copy I just had to read it.
If I was to sum up this book in one word it would be WEIRD. But a good weird.
I did end up enjoying this book but still couldn't get over how weird it was. I ended up giving it a 4/5 stars.
The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
This was another random pick from the library actually chosen by my brother who is hard work in a library (though Chloe he still shows me his sticker).
This was another strange read and not like anything I would usually pick up myself but I did end up enjoying it and I liked the determination shown through the main character.
I gave it 3/5 stars.
All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
I was so mentally unprepared for this book! It shattered my heart and made me cry multiple times.
It was just so beautiful.
Go read it!
Definite 4.5/5 stars.
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Admitedly I haven't actually finished this book yet but I am pretty sure I will by the end of the month.
So far I am really enjoying it.
I am really pleased with all the reading I have done this month. Especially as some of these books were pretty chunky!
I will leave my final thoughts on Shatter Me down below.
