harmonium in the night

I was playing harmonium within the night
The song would go far beyond my sight
Then I saw a narrow cleft
And entered
And I started running afar in between
The two layers of tenebrosity
Like drowsed water
A twenty year-old lass there
Unseen
was sleeping
She didn’t awake
But chuckled in her sleep
There was the song in the darkness
And the one flowing like water was me
I started laughing too
In the night
Hiding in the dark
Under a photo of Sai Baba
A fat middle-aged man was having pistachio
He threatened me with a gun
With coercing eyes and by making faces
The irate man was father of that girl, in fact
And he had not slept for twenty years
For he was watching over the dreams of the girl
What could I do? I just bounced out with a bang
And I began to be respectful to him during the day
But my harmonium was left behind into the night
Far behind
And it was still playing
But it is hard to say
Why the girl was still laughing.
