Ingredients:

1 cup of lemon juice

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup pineapple juice

2 tablespoons lime juice

How to prepare:

In order to make this at home, you will need to combine sugar with 1 cup water to prepare the sweet syrup. Use a medium saucepan over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Then, let it cool.

Mix the syrup with lemon juice, pineapple juice, lime juice with 5 cups of water in a large pitcher. Keep aside in refrigerator until cooled.

2. Watermelon Slush

Many of you prefer having this at all seasons and believe it or not, what’s a party without this drink, right? Quite an easy peasy, this can be made actually in just 5 minutes. Ingredients:

Diced seedless watermelon – 5 cups

2 tablespoons sugar

Optional – juice of 1 lime

To make this superb drink, just combine all the ingredients with ice in a blender until smooth and ready to drink!

3. Aam Panna

Another tropical mix to cool off this summers is the lip-smacking drink called Aam Panna. Popularly found in Maharashtra, this is can be easily made at home. All you need is your all-time favourite fruit – mango! Prepared using mango pulp combined with cumin, jeera and mint leaves, this is one of the best refreshing drink of all times. Aam Panna not just keeps you refreshed, but also energised throughout the day during sunny days.

Ingredients:

500 gm green mangoes

2 tsp black rock salt

1/2 cup sugar

2 tsp salt

2 tsp powdered cumin

2 tbsp chopped mint leaves

2 cups water

How to prepare:

Bring the mangos to boil the mangoes till they become soft inside. When cooled, remove the skin and remove the pulp. Combine to mix all ingredients, blend it well. Once ready, pour in glasses with ice.

4. Lassi

Now, what can be better than the Punjabi lassi? To absolute cool off this summer, try out this smooth yet creamy yoghurt-based refreshment. Usually, liked by all, you may not enjoy this if you are lactose intolerant. Considered to be an awesome summer cooler, you can prepare multiple variations of it from – avocado, mango to banana and more. If you haven’t tried any of these as yet, here’s one for you. Ingredients:

750gms yoghurt

Salt or sugar

Ice cubes

200 ml water

How to prepare:

Add yoghurt, water and salt or sugar in a blender with ice cubes. Blend about a minute and it’s ready to serve chilled.

5. Mason Jar Citrus Coolers

Not so tangy, not so sweet, this is a perfect blend of summer flavours. Orange, lime and lemon – this refreshing citrus drink has some serious rejuvenating element which can too, become your new backyard BBQ must-haves!

Ingredients:

1 cup fresh orange juice

½ tbsp lime juice and lemon juice

½ tsp sugar

Club soda

Lemon slices to serve – optional

How to prepare:

Add and stir together orange juice, lime and lemon juice. Add sugar into the mixture according to how much sweetness you prefer. Once ready, top with club soda.

6. Nimbu Paani

The very own nimbu paani is a quick drink to make which is prepared by using lemons, sugar, mint leaves and salt. 5 tbsp lemon juiced

2 tbsp sugar

¼ cups mint leaves

How to prepare:

Add and crush mint leaves along with sugar to prepare a paste. Add water and mix the paste into it with lemon juice. Stir well and add some ice cubes to serve chilled. You can also garnish the drink with roundrels if you’d like.
