Fall Time, Cozy Time Book Tag!

Hey, guys! I am super excited because its Fall and I am doing a Book tag. I have not done one in ages, especially on here. And its Fall (even if Ohio hasn’t exactly figured that out yet). Its that time of year where you see me post a million times on here about my love for Halloween and Fall time in general because I am that bitch. This tag was originally created by Novels and Nonsense so I will link Sam’s original video here. But let’s just go ahead and get into the tag!

Crunching Leaves: The world is full of color! Choose a book that has reds, yellows, and oranges on it.

This is a book that no one should be surprised to see because would a Book Tag really be complete if I didn’t talk about Harry Potter at least once? It has fire which has red, orange and yellow in it so it totally counts.

Cozy Sweater: Its finally cool enough to wear warm, cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm and fuzzy feelings?

I bet this one threw you for a loop, huh? My go-to answer for this question in any book tag is always To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, so I figured I could change it up with Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer! This is a book that is basically every fangirl’s dream. It is so adorable, and I love it so much. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and it is a book that is severely underrated. I just love it so much, and you definitely should read it because it’s a quick read and it’s fabulous!

Fall Storm: The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favorite book or genre to read on a stormy day.

I don’t have a specific book or genre in mind when its raining because I am that reader that doesn’t like the rain. It doesn’t make me want to read more. I am that person who is less likely to read on a rainy day than any other type of day. However, if I do by some miracle, read on this day, I would probably read a classic because why the hell not, you know?

Cool, Crisp Air: What cool character would you want to trade places with?

I would give anything to be in the world of Harry Potter so I would trade places with someone. I don’t really know who because I wouldn’t exactly characterize a ton of the characters of that world as “cool.” #SorryNotSorry. I would, however, totally trade places with some obscure character from Harry Potter so I could be gay with Hermione because I really am that bitch. If I had to pick someone else, though, I would totally trade places with Simon Lewis of The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare because I am gay and want to make out with Isabelle Lightwood.

Hot Apple Cider: What is an underhyped book that you would like to see be the next hottest, biggest thing in the world?

Basically all of Raye Wagner’s books. She is such a talented author, and she is an indie author! I have worked with her several times in the past, and I just think publishers should check out what they are missing because her books are freaking fantastic, okay? I just love them so much!

Coats, Scarves, Mittens: The weather has turned cold and its time to cover up. What’s the most amazing book cover you own that you would want to keep hidden from the public?

Just to be clear, it is not because I am ashamed of the covers of these books. But hot damn. It gets so annoying every time I take any of the Illuminae Files books and about twenty people bug me about what the book is about and everything to do with the series. Like, leave me the hell alone, y’all. I am just trying to read, damn…

Pumpkin Spice: What book makes you want to eat all the typical fall food?

It was between the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series and all of Harry Potter. These books make me want to eat in general, not just fall-related food! Lara Jean, the main protagonist, is really into baking and the food that is described in this book is so delectable and I want to eat all of it!

Warm, Cozy Bonfire: Who are you going to tag?

Madeline @ Madeline Johnston Writes

Rachel @ Life of a Female Bibliophile

Nikki & Amy @ Bursting With Books

You! If you want to participate in this tag, consider yourself tagged by me!

And there you have it! That was the Fall Time, Cozy Time book tag. What is your favorite fall scent? I absolutely love vanilla. It is my favorite scent year-round, though, if I am being honest. But that is going to be it for this book tag today. Thank you all so much for reading this, I hope you enjoyed it, and I will see you next time!
