The Eternal unfolds its changeless nature in time, and the Infinite manifests its limitless nature in countless finite forms. It is in that sense that Spirit is both eternal and appears in time, and can be apprehended as active and responsive by minds which are receptive to it, both as mediated through physical objects and events, and by direct non-sensory apprehension. Such experiences are at the heart of much spiritual practice, and for those who have them they form the strongest form of evidence for the reality of Spirit.
