Over the next three months, there’s countless movies coming to theaters that I cannot wait to watch. March, April, and May are traditionally rainy months so it’s the perfect time to sit down with a bowl of popcorn and a good Movie. Any of these 12 films is the perfect choice.
Dune: Part 2

I still have yet to see Dune Part 1, but you should never miss an opportunity to see Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet hanging out in the desert! After all, Zendaya is the only one who expects little Timmy to survive.
Knox Goes Away
Release Date: March 15th, 2024
Genre: Thriller
Directed by and starring Michael Keaton, this film features a contract killer who begins suffering from dementia. It’s kind of funny to see what old former action stars are creating nowadays and honestly I think this is a great option.
The American Society of Magical Negroes
Release Date: March 22nd, 2024
Genre: Comedy / Fantasy
When a man gets inducted into a secret society of magical Black people, he questions the use of his powers. I’m interested to see how far this leans into the satire component as opposed to a more serious one.
Immaculate
Release Date: March 22nd, 2024
Genre: Horror / Mystery
Sydney Sweeney is on the verge of being oversaturated, as oftentimes happens to young hot women, but you know what I’m excited for this movie. Sweeney plays a nun who embarks on a journey to an Italian countryside, at which point the horror and mystery begin to reveal themselves.
Arthur the King
Release Date: March 22nd, 2024
Genre: Action / Adventure
The movie looks so cute! Arthur the King is based on the true story of a man running an adventure race who adopts a dog along the way. The dog won’t quit, and neither will Mikael (Mark Wahlberg). This is sure to be a wholesome tale of success and overcoming the odds.
Monkey Man
Release Date: April 1st, 2024
Genre: Action / Thriller
Lots going on here in this movie staring Dev Patel! A man wears a monkey mask and fights at a fight club where he gets beaten night after night. Then, he infiltrates the city’s elite? Not sure how those things relate, but it does in fact all happen in this action / thriller.
Someone Like You
Release Date: April 2nd, 2024
Genre: Romance / Drama
I’m not 100% sure where the romance comes into this story, but after the tragic death of a young women’s best friend, she goes on an adventure for her long lost twin sister. I’m sure this is going to be an incredibly emotional story that makes me cry multiple times.
Challengers
Release Date: April 26th, 2024
Genre: Sports / Romance / Drama
If there’s one movie on this list that I’m most definitely going to get to the theaters to see, its Challengers. Tashi (played by Zendaya) is an elite tennis player turned coach of her husband. Said husband is struggling, and his emotions are even higher when he finds himself competing against his former best friend—and Tashi’s former boyfriend.
The Fall Guy
Release Date: May 3rd, 2024
Genre: Action / Comedy
If you don’t know what this movie’s about already, you probably haven’t been to the theater in the past six months. It’s nearly as popular a commercial as Argylle was. Ryan Reynolds is a stunt man who ends up on the set of his exes (Emily Blunt)’s movie. Then something happens in real life and he must become an action hero. It looks silly and I’m sure I’ll watch when it comes to streaming.

I have incredibly mixed feelings about biopics, and this one is no different. I hope that they do Amy Winehouse and her life justice and portray her in the light she deserves to be cast in. I don’t know a ton about Winehouse, but I love so many of her songs and I have respect for her as a person.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

I’ve only seen one of the Mad Max series, but this one looks pretty decent! It’s always interesting to me when movies have so many sequels. What sets a franchise apart? I’ll never know.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

Like I said with the movie before, a franchise this big is always interesting to me. I probably won’t watch because as someone who is always Team Apes, these movies make me sob. I just don’t want any of the monkeys to get hurt! They deserve to live and be wonderful!
