The Most Popular WTTN Articles of 2023

2023 was such an amazing year for Write Through the Night. We published over 180 posts this year, and I think each one of them brought something special to the internet. I think I speak for everyone on the team when I say that we’re so grateful for all of you who read even a single article here. It truly means so much to be able to share our opinions and interact with all of you.

Just like I did in 2022, I’m here to break down the most viewed posts of the year as well as my personal favorite post written by each member of our team.

My Personal Favorites

As you probably know, there are 5 of us who write for this site regularly. Aside from that, there are a few people who have written posts here over the course of the year that have not gone on to become a staff writer. If you want to become a regular writer or just have one great idea, please reach out—we’re looking to expand our team in 2024!

That being said, here are my favorite posts of the year from all of our regular contributors.

Aakanksha

In addition to writing for Write Through the Night, Aakanksha has taken on a far bigger role editing posts before they go to print. This has taken so much off my plate and I’m incredibly grateful she is such a talented editor!

Favorite Post: The Trap of Centering White Saviorism in The Paper Daughters of Chinatown

Chinwe

I deeply love Chinwe’s perspective on everything she writes. When I scrolled through her portfolio to find my favorite post of the year, I was torn in so many different directions. We’re all lucky to hear what she has to say on every topic she chooses to write about!

Favorite Post: The Tale of Two Hand Gestures: Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and Media Bias

Maxx

Recently, Maxx decided to take over from me (I was doing nothing) and run our Instagram! All of the fancy graphics and increased engagement is thanks to them. They also took the title as #1 contributor (aside from myself), so I’m sure you’ve read a lot of their work this year.

Favorite Post: What Your Favorite Abbott Elementary Character Says About You

Vania

Vania is truly the reviewing queen here at Write Through the Night. She always has a fresh perspective, whether it’s on a show that came out yesterday or two years ago. She has written incredible content for us for the past two years now and I hope to have her for much longer!
