Make-up as the Time

Timing is everything. Remember day time make up is always different from night time make up. Evening looks are supposed to be different from both Day and Night looks. So If you are meeting perspective groom’s family or him during day time stick to Minimalist make-up and play with eyes and lips if the meting is scheduled to be at night or evening time. 

Location matters

Location also plays up a huge role. You can not go wearing a skirt to a temple and doll up in Patiala in a pub. So dress up according to your Arranged marriage meeting venue. Ethnics mostly dominate the Indian marriage market. So Salwar-Suit and Saris are safest bait until the meeting is fixed at a five star hotel over cocktails. Light Kohl and a hint of Mascara or the day time meeting with the groom’s family and complete freedom to play with your eye shadow pallet during the night time. Go for soft smoky eyes or  smudged out eyeliner topped off with oodles of mascara. Remember to tone down your lipstick in that case.

Hairs surely have the first impression

Please don’t play with the hairs much,just go easy with them. The simple bath ritual of Shampoo and drying the hairs is enough. Keep them natural,shiny and flowy. Never ever try any new hair cut for your first arranged marriage meet.

Smell your best
