Mississippi Stud is an easy game to learn and is growing in popularity across the nation. It plays like a shortened version of Texas Hold’em, as each player starts with two cards dealt to them. The dealer places three community cards face down and players must decide whether to play or fold their hand after looking at their cards. As each community card is exposed, players have the opportunity to bet or fold. You’ll need at least a pair of 6’s through 10’s in the final five card hand to break even or push. If you have better than a pair of 10’s, you’ll win. The higher your five card hand, the higher your payoff.
