The game of Blackjack played with two decks is just like regular Blackjack (played with 6 or 8 decks) with a few rule changes. Players love the fact that only two decks are in play. Since blackjack payouts are 6 to 5 on Double Deck (instead of the normal payout of 3 to 2 on regular blackjack), all wagers must be made in $5 increments. Doubling down is allowed on 9, 10 and 11 only and there is no doubling allowed after a split. Also, cards of equal value may only be split once for two hands. The use of the double deck in place of the standard makes this game a novelty in casinos across the country.
