Phew! Time runs way too fast me. I can't keep up!
I thought today I would promote my Digital Store over on Payhip. I've named it Guiding Horses Digitals. Yep, another creative name!
I absolutely adore Payhip for my digital downloads. It's an easy platform to use and it's FREE! I currently only have 11 products up at the moment but I fully intend to add more very soon.
As I've yet to sell I'm unable to testify at how Payhip handles orders and payments. However, I really recommend the platform if you are looking to create digital files. You even have a blog on your store so you can keep customers included in the running of your store. You can also set your mailing list up to collect emails to keep your customers informed of new uploads. Stats are there also although they only tell you how much traffic each product has received, but it does indicate just how popular something is. This means you can capitalise on this and create more of the same type of download.
My only regret is that, yet again, I've not promoted this store as much as I should have. Unfortunately it is yet to show up in Google, In fact, I'll just have a little look now:

Oh, that isn't good! Even if you put the name into Google, it's not there! I will have to do something about that. In light of this, I shall be writing more blog posts and promoting my downloads a lot more. I believe all my traffic as come from social media especially Twitter. But, I make the mistake of only tweeting about items once. This isn't taking into account that not everyone that you follow will see it first time around. So, it's best to keep retweeting the link changing the description each time.
I would like to have a look to see how other Payhip stores are doing but as there is no directory it's difficult to do. You can recommend features you would like to see added on your Dashboard. I did, the first time around, ask for more help with marketing. This time, I've suggested a directory of all Payhip stores.
You can embed your Payhip store in your website or blog to help promote your products. I am featuring one of my downloads on the side bar of this blog. I'll try and embed an item on a new page.
I would definitely look into Payhip.com as a store to sell your digital downloads.
