There are many bedtime habits that we practice daily without our awareness and real awareness about their benefit or even their harm to us, and these habits range from healthy habits before bed to wrong habits before bed. In both cases, we need to get acquainted with the most famous of these habits in order to avoid the harmful ones and preserve the good ones . Here are the most prominent ones. 

Wrong habits before bed 

Habits before going to Sleep, including good and wrong habits, the most famous of these wrong habits that must be avoided:

Eat right before bed

One of our worst night habits; Because this food does not have enough time to be digested , and thus makes us anxious. In many cases this weight is accompanied by a feeling of pain in the abdomen and colic. There are also some types of food that wake you up at night to go to the bathroom.

Drink plenty of water before bed 

Drinking plenty of water increases the chance of waking up to go to the bathroom. Waking up multiple times makes us feel like we didn't get enough sleep

Coffee and smoking are bad bedtime habits 

Stimulants are generally avoided after Maghrib prayer. These stimuli include tea , Nescafe , coffee , and even smoking. All of them prevent sleep at night and are among the biggest causes of insomnia at night. 

Take some kind of treatment 

Some people think that taking the medicine before going to bed is harmless , but this belief is wrong. The treatment should not be taken before going to sleep unnecessarily and without a doctor's request. Because some types of treatments contain stimulants , and thus increase insomnia at night by taking them. Others contain limited amounts of medicine, such as cold and flu medicines.

Browsing mobile phones and tablets at night is one of the wrong habits before going to sleep   

One of the most common wrong habits among people is browsing web pages and mobile content at night. This use of the mobile phone is wrong because its use increases brain activity , and thus the person feels awake and sleep disappears. The light from these devices also affects sleep by inhibiting melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep and can contribute to feelings of alertness during the nighttime hours
