BRONX - In celebration of Nurse's Week 2023, officials at Montefiore Medical Center expressed deep appreciation for their colleagues and the vital role nurses play in positively impacting the lives of patients and the community by delivering Exceptional Patient care.

One of the week's highlights was the Bilder Awards, named after Joan H. Bilder, the Associate Director of Nursing at the Weiler Division. This annual award recognizes four nurses who exemplify providing Exceptional patient care: Lisa Hoyte, Mary Alevis, Ryan Gil and Wendy Irizarry.
