Scholarship Description
The international peace Scholarship Program was established in 1949 with the sole aim of selecting women from other countries for graduate study in the United States.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship program, you must meet the following requirements;
- Applicants must be qualified for a full-time graduate study and working towards a graduate degree in an accredited university in the United States or Canada
- Applicants must not be a citizen or permanent resident in the United States or Canada
- Applicants must possess strong academic and leadership abilities.
- In order to qualify for her first scholarship, an applicant must have a full year of coursework remaining, be enrolled, and be in residence for the entire school year.
- International students attending Cottey College are eligible to apply for a scholarship.

Scholarship Benefit
This scholarship award is not designed to cover all academic or personal expenses.
The maximum scholarship amount for one year of study is $12,500. A lesser amount may be awarded according to individual needs.
Awardees are allowed to renew their scholarship for only one year. That means that they may receive scholarship assistance for only two years.
